AMERICAS
North America
The two leading industrialized countries in North America, the United States and Canada, are inhabited by an overwhelming majority of English-speaking people. Spanish and French are also spoken in some regions.
Central and South Americas
Among the Central and South American countries, Brazil is populated by people speaking Brazilian Portuguese, for which translation demand is increasing as the country’s economy develops. Spanish is spoken in all other countries in this continental zone.
EMEA
Europe
There are many industrialized countries in Europe, especially in the western part. They are populated by people speaking such major languages as English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
Northern Europe
North European countries are rather thinly populated, but they are the home of many global corporations. These countries including Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden are inhabited by people with differing mother tongues, but these languages share many of the same features.
Middle East, Central Asia and other areas
Among the languages used in these areas, Arabic is most broadly spoken mainly in the Middle East and North Africa and is also one of the official languages of the United Nations. Persian is another language having a large number of speakers notably in Iran, one of the larger countries in the region.
ASIA PACIFIC
East Asia
Except for Japanese, Chinese and Korean are spoken in east asia. Especially, Chinese is the most widely spoken language in the world, and the demand for Chinese translation is remarkably increasing.
Southeast Asia
Recently, many countries of Southeast Asia have been making remarkable progress in economy, and languages spoken in these countries are expanding their presence. At the same time, the number of English speakers in India is continuing to grow, and the demand for English translation is also increasing.
